These terms govern your use of App4Dad (app4dad.com) and App4Mom (app4mom.com), together “App4”. By using App4 you agree to them.

Using App4

App4 is a private assistant that helps caregivers manage family logistics. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and recovery phrase safe: because App4 is zero-knowledge, we cannot recover your data if you lose your key.

Your data

Your content is encrypted so that only you can read it. How we handle connected services (like Google) and how to delete your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Prohibited use & safety

We do not retain readable or plaintext logs of your usage content. Any AI processing happens only at a consent-gated point where content is used ephemerally, not from stored logs. (We do keep operational logs scrubbed of personal identifiers — we do not claim to log nothing.)

You may not use App4 to store, transmit, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or to facilitate serious harm to another person. We prohibit such content, will not knowingly store it, and will report it to and cooperate with the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where required by law.

You also agree not to misuse App4 — for example, by attempting to breach its security, access another person’s data, or use it to violate the law or others’ rights.

Disclaimers

Not a professional App4 and The Liaison provide logistical and informational support. They are not a doctor, not a financial advisor, and not a lawyer, and nothing in the app is professional medical, financial, or legal advice. For decisions in those areas, consult a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

App4 is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

NEEDS-LEGAL-REVIEW. To the maximum extent permitted by law, App4 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Final liability, warranty, arbitration, and governing-law terms will be set following legal review before general availability.

Changes

We may update these terms as App4 evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
